1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and AI Fingerprinting.

By accessing our website at www.aifingerprinting.com, scheduling an appointment, submitting any booking form, or receiving any of our services, whether in-person, mobile, or online, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our website or services. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion.

All services are subject to availability, applicable law, and agency-specific requirements. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

 

3. Appointments, Scheduling & Cancellations

Booking

Appointments may be scheduled online through our booking portal at www.aifingerprinting.com/appointment/, by phone, or via WhatsApp. A confirmation email or message will be sent upon successful booking. It is your responsibility to ensure that booking information, including service type, ORI number, and identification details, is accurate.

Same-Day & Walk-In Appointments

Same-day appointments are available, subject to technician availability. We recommend booking in advance to guarantee your preferred time slot. Walk-in appointments may be accommodated when scheduling permits.

Mobile & On-Site Services

Mobile fingerprinting services are available for individuals, businesses, and organizations within our service area. Additional travel fees may apply. Access to the site and a suitable private space must be provided by the requesting party.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment may be rescheduled at no charge.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a cancellation fee, which will be communicated at time of booking.
  • No-shows without prior notice may forfeit any prepaid fees.
  • AI Fingerprinting reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to equipment issues, staffing, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a full reschedule or refund.

4. Eligibility & Client Responsibilities

Age & Authorization

You must be 18 years of age or older to use our services independently. Services for minors (under 18) must be requested and consented to by a parent or legal guardian who must be present during the appointment.

Valid Identification

Clients must present at least one valid, government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, passport, state ID, or equivalent) at the time of service. For certain background check types, additional documents may be required by the requesting agency. We reserve the right to decline service if valid identification cannot be provided.

Accuracy of Information

You are solely responsible for providing accurate and complete information, including your name, date of birth, Social Security Number (where required by the requesting agency), ORI number, and the purpose of the fingerprinting. Providing false information is a violation of these Terms and may constitute a criminal offense under applicable law.

Condition of Fingerprints

In some cases, temporary or permanent conditions (e.g., dry skin, calluses, cuts, or skin conditions) may affect fingerprint quality. We will make every effort to capture acceptable prints, but we cannot guarantee acceptance by the receiving agency in all cases. Please notify our technician of any known issues prior to your appointment.

5. Payments & Fees

Service fees are listed on our Pricing page and are subject to change without prior notice. Current pricing at the time of booking applies.

  • Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged for business/organizational accounts.
  • We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as displayed at checkout.
  • Agency submission fees (e.g., FBI channeling fees) are separate from our service fee and are the client’s responsibility where applicable.
  • Government-required fees are non-refundable once submitted to the agency.

  • Refund Policy

    Note: Our service fee covers the professional capture and submission of your fingerprints. We do not control government agency processing times or outcomes. Service fees are non-refundable once fingerprints have been captured and/or submitted, except where we are at fault for a material service error.
    • If a submission is rejected by the agency due to a quality issue caused by our technician (not due to your skin condition or other factors outside our control), we will re-capture your prints at no additional charge.
    • Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the appointment date.

6. Results, Accuracy & Rejections

AI Fingerprinting acts as a service provider for fingerprint capture and submission. We do not determine, control, or guarantee the outcome of any background check or identity verification process conducted by a third-party agency (FBI, FINRA, FDLE, ATF, etc.).

  • Background check results are controlled exclusively by the receiving government agency or authorized channeler. Turnaround times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
  • We use AI-assisted quality verification to minimize print rejections before submission, but rejection cannot be entirely eliminated.
  • If your fingerprints are rejected by the receiving agency, we will notify you promptly. A free re-capture appointment will be offered for rejections attributable to our capture process.
  • We are not responsible for delays, errors, or decisions made by third-party agencies.
  • We do not interpret or provide legal advice about background check results.

7. Acceptable Use of Website

When using our website, you agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any local, state, or federal regulation
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form or booking system
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, servers, or databases
  • Introduce malware, viruses, or any malicious code
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data from our website without written permission
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any organization
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the website or our online booking system

Violations may result in immediate termination of access and legal action where appropriate.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, service descriptions, pricing, and booking workflows — is the exclusive property of AI Fingerprinting or its licensed partners and is protected by U.S. copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may view and print pages from this site for your personal, non-commercial use only. Any other reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial exploitation of our content without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

The AI Fingerprinting name, logo, and all associated branding elements are trademarks of the Company. Unauthorized use of our trademarks is prohibited.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses
  • Warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of content
  • Warranties regarding the outcome of any background check or government agency process

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AI Fingerprinting expressly disclaims all such warranties.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AI Fingerprinting, its officers, employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Your use of or inability to use our services or website
  • Errors, delays, or rejections by third-party government agencies
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your personal information (subject to our data security obligations)
  • Any inaccuracy in information you provided that affects service outcomes
  • Loss of employment opportunities, immigration consequences, or other downstream effects of background check results

In any event, our total liability to you for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Some states do not allow exclusion of implied warranties or limitation of incidental damages; in those states, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AI Fingerprinting and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, partners, and successors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms of Service
  • Your provision of false, inaccurate, or fraudulent information
  • Your violation of any applicable law or the rights of a third party
  • Any misuse of our services or website

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Clark County, Washington, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation, or violation of intellectual property rights.

You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration with respect to any claim covered by these Terms.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page and post a notice on our website. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. If you disagree with any updated Terms, you must discontinue use of our services.
