How It Works
Maryland’s Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) Central Repository accepts mailed fingerprint cards from applicants outside the state. We go over your board’s instructions with you before rolling so the card is completed correctly.
You will need your agency authorization details, the codes your Maryland board or employer provides so CJIS knows where to send your results. If you don’t have them, call us and we’ll help you figure out who to contact.
Step 1
Our technicians roll your prints in black ink on the standard FD-258 card, complete the required fields with you, and run an AI-assisted quality check before you leave. Most appointments take 15 to 25 minutes.
Step 2
We seal your completed card for mailing to the CJIS Central Repository along with your payment, following your agency’s instructions. Ask about our USPS Certified Mail service with tracking.
